Inspired by precious creatures, the romance of nature, day dreams, medieval art, and folk stories. The artist illustrates, paints, then stitches artworks entirely by hand in a needlepoint medium, primarily petite-point style, re-invigorating the centuries old craft into modern times.

In the artist’s creative free time, they aspire to accentuate human experiences in a combinatory way; collapsing the boundaries between senses and to visualize the unseen reality that we feel. Nature and the art of noticing drive them to create and tell the stories of creatures that cannot speak for themselves.
